Private bedroom in NoMa

Rent: For this room is $1359 +utilities, (the other bedrooms are smaller, have little or no windows, and have less privacy). The new lease begins Feb 8 and needs to be signed by Jan 8, but the bedroom will be available by December 15.

The Apartment: Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, shower, and large closet. Common space includes kitchen with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, heat/air, and living room view of the Washington Monument. Living room / kitchen is almost entirely furnished, so it's great for someone who doesn't own any furniture, but there's space in case the person does!

The building: has a gym, a 'chill lounge', Amazon Hub for packages, awesome roof with a pool, Streets Market on the first floor. Across the street from CVS, half a block from Harris Teeter. 1.5 blocks to NoMa Metro, 8 blocks to Union Station, less than a mile to Senate side of the Hill.

About me: 25 years old, Jewish, and a career in progressive politics. I'm originally from California, went to school in Oregon, and have lived in the DC area since January 2019. I have guinea pigs, who live in a cage in my bedroom, and I clean their space every day. My Netflix suggestions are very confused because I spend about equal time watching historical docuseries and trashy reality shows. I believe that we should all be actively working make the world a better, whether that means improving quality of life for one person or instituting systemic change for entire societies.
